Types, validity and prices of motorway vignettes

Overview of motorway vignette types, validity periods and prices in Slovakia.

Within the territory of the Slovak Republic, a total of 4 motorway vignettes are available:

1 day

1-day motorway vignette

A motorway vignette with one-day validity, valid until 23:59:59 on the day specified by the user as the start of validity for the designated motorway sections.

10 days

10-day motorway vignette

A motorway vignette with ten-day validity, valid for 10 days including the day specified by the user as the start of validity for the designated motorway sections.

30 days

30-day motorway vignette

A motorway vignette with thirty-day validity, valid for 30 days including the day specified by the user as the start of validity for the designated motorway sections.

365 days

365-day motorway vignette

A motorway vignette with three-hundred-and-sixty-five-day validity, valid for 365 days including the day specified by the user as the start of validity for the designated motorway sections.

Important: The day specified by the user as the start of validity for the designated motorway sections is the first day of the vignette's validity. For a 1-day vignette, this is also the only day of its validity.

Payment for a motorway vignette is made for 365 days, 30 days, 10 days or one day regardless of the number of journeys made, and the vignette exists in electronic form only.

* All prices shown include any applicable VAT rate in accordance with the valid legal regulations at the time the service is provided, consisting of placing an order/purchase of a motorway vignette on behalf of the Customer based on the data entered by the Customer on the portal of the administrator of motorway vignette fee collection, and sending the Customer an email confirmation of the provision of the motorway vignette by electronic means to the email address specified by the Customer in the Order.
